The holiday drinks book tag

Since it’s almost Christmas, I had to do a winter-related book tag! Thank you so much for the tag, Cerys!

1. Hot Chocolate: Marshmallows and chocolate and whipped cream, oh my! Recommend a book that’s sweet through and through.
I’m just going to give one of my favourite Romance books: Miss Demeanor by Beth Rinyu. Miss Demeanor is such a funny and cute Romance book and I couldn’t get enough of the story, it’s just so addictive. I finished this book in two days, it was so fast paced and well written!

2. Peppermint Mocha: The flavor of peppermint is strong and distinct. Recommend a book with a lot of strong emotions.
For strong emotions I’ll have to go with Hear What You Want by Kyra Lennon. Hear What You Want was such an emotional book because the main character was raped and she doesn’t remember who raped her. I felt so many different emotions when I was reading the book and it was so beautiful!

3. Apple Cider: It’s so good it can’t be good for you, but it’s from apples – that means it’s healthy, right? Recommend a book full of characters with questionable morals.
For this question I have to say that The Vampire Games series by Caroline Peckham is a series full of characters with some questionable morals. At the moment this series has 8 books but Caroline isn’t finished yet. Every three books have different main characters, so you get to know a lot about these characters as well as their morals… I’m not going to spoil anything, you just have to check out this series!

4. Eggnog: It’s creamy and smooth, with a little spice, and some people even add alcohol to it. Recommend a book that’s mostly fun, with just a hint of danger.
Blinding Night by Chantal Gadoury is such an amazing Romance book with a hint of danger, nothing too much but just enough to spice up the story. Blinding Night is a Hades and Persephone retelling and the story was so interesting!

5. Gingerbread Latte: A drink with a veritable explosion of spices. Recommend a book with a lot of action.
I don’t really read a lot of Action books, but I do like to read books where there are a lot of fighting scenes because it’s just so cool when a badass chick can fight some evil dudes. A good book for this question is Woman of Blood & Bone by Annie Anderson. Woman of Blood and Bone is the first book in the Rogue Ethereal series and tells the story of Max, a badass witch.

Feel free to do this tag and make sure to tag me so I can read it!
