Synopsis

My life has revolved around the two things I’ve always loved: whiskey and rugby. Now the marriage clause in my Da’s will has me putting both on the back burner if I want to save the Murphy’s Pub empire and find a wife.

As the last brother to get married, I need a little help, and that’s where my sister-in-law’s American best friend, Leah, comes into the picture. She could use a little Irish luck after the deceitful things her ex did to her that brought her to Ireland. With her take-no-shite-attitude, she’s just the type of girl to help me find a wife.

That is, if I can remember she’s the matchmaker and not the match.

Review

This book was provided by the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Entangled Publishing!

Dirty Irish is the third book in the Murphy Brothers series and tells the story of Sean and Leah. Although this book is the third one in the series, it can be read as a standalone!

Dirty Irish is the first book I read by Magan Vernon, and I really liked it. When I got the opportunity to read this book, I immediately said yes when I saw the title. I love reading books set in Ireland because I’m really fascinated by Ireland’s culture and so far I’ve loved every book I’ve read set in Ireland!

I really liked the characters, Sean is such a handsome, sexy and honest man and I liked Leah’s sass. I also really liked the other brothers and their wives. I loved Sean’s family and their bond. It took Sean and Leah a while to see their true feelings, but it was cute to see how they grew as a couple!

Dirty Irish was fast paced and such an enjoyable read! I cannot wait to read Magan Vernon’s other books as well as book 1 and 2 in the Murphy Brothers series.
