A Thousand Pieces of You is a book about Marguerite Caine, she's the daughter of two amazing scientists who created the firebird, a device which can take you to another dimension. Together with Theo, Marguerite goes to another dimension to catch her father's killer, who also stole a firebird. But when they saw each other again, everything changed...

When I started reading in A Thousand Pieces of You I thought it was kinda strange. There were a lot of scientific terms and the order of the explanation was kind of strange. But when I read more, I began to find it more interesting and I wanted to know more about them, more about Marguerite, Theo and Paul.

I think A Thousand Pieces of You is an incredible read and I wish the second book was already translated (I read this in the Dutch version)! There were a lot of plot twists that I didn't see coming and they were so amazing. To be honest, I don't know if I'm team Theo or Paul. The moments of Marguerite and Paul in Russia were so enjoyable to read, but the other moments weren't that 'wow'. But then the moments I liked about Marguerite and Theo were actually about the Theo from the other dimension, so I don't know whether my judgement would be accurate because I don't really know the Theo from Marguerite's original dimension. So I'll have to read the sequel to find out which team I am!
