Synopsis

On a hallowed night, the love of my life gambled me away to the Devil.

Once upon a myth…

A Devil with the face of an angel ruled New York.

Salvi Moretti returns.
A Don to one of the five families of the La Cosa Nostra.

He’s a notorious gangster wrapped in an Armani suit that reigns in hell. The villain of every love story. He is a powerful aristocrat, a savage, and a wicked man who likes a challenge.

I’m his new challenge. His new obsession.

I’m a wealthy and privileged Catholic girl who’s returned from studying law abroad. It was a night out with my boyfriend, Adamo, when everything descended into chaos at the casino. He lost and gambled me away.

Years ago, I took a vow of celibacy, but now a sadistic man tempts me with the dark side – the blond hair, blue-eyed older casino billionaire with tattoos on his hands, and his lips formed in a teasing smile.

My name is Ehva, and I have a confession to make. I fell in love with the Devil … and now, no one can save me from this hell. His disturbing love is so powerful, it becomes dangerous. As his obsession metastasizes, he wants to marry me, and I say… I do.

Welcome to New York’s Underworld.

Loosely based on the myth of Lucifer & Eve.

Review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Beena Khan!

The Blue-Eyed Devil is the first book in the Devil’s Lair series and tells the story of Ehva and Salvi.

I’m the villain of every love story.
Salvi Moretti has returned.
And you, my angel—you will be my wife.

I’m not surprised that I loved reading The Blue-Eyed Devil by Beena Khan. Beena Khan is such a talented author, and I’ve enjoyed her other books set in the same world as The Blue-Eyed Devil. For those who’ve read the Beauty & The Beast series are familiar with Salvi. I’ve always wanted to know more about Salvi ever since I read about him, so I was so excited to read The Blue-Eyed Devil. And let me tell you that I loved Salvi in the Beauty & The Beast series and now I kinda hate him, lol. But I know he’ll redeem himself in the next book, The Fallen Angel.

"Sinning has never felt so good, huh, Angel?’

I really loved Ehva as a main character. She’s not your typical strong female character, and she is religious and a lawyer. I think her story is really interesting and I loved seeing her somewhat change towards the end of the book. Salvi was also really interesting, and he really surprised me at the end of the book. I didn’t see the plot twist coming… I also really like the way he thinks about Ehva, it reminds me of Joe from You

God couldn’t save me from the Devil. Now, I’m cast aside from the Garden of Eden while the serpent walks free.

The Blue-Eyed Devil was such an amazing and addictive book, and I’m so happy that Beena Khan wrote a book about Salvi. He deserves his own story and his own happy ending. I’m really excited for the next book to see how Ehva and Salvi’s story is going to continue, and I would also really like to read a book about Salvi’s brother, Romeo. I think his story would be interesting too! Beena Khan did such a good job with The Blue-Eyed Devil and I highly recommend it!
