Review
This book was provided by the publisher through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Andrews McMeel Publishing and Netgalley!
I Wrote This For You is a poetry collection with beautiful words, photography about love, loss, beginnings and endings. This poetry collection is divided into 4 chapters: Sun, Moon, Stars and Rain.
I Wrote This For You was such a unique poetry collection to me because on every page there was a picture. Not a drawing or an illustration, but a ‘real’ photo accompanied by a poem and I really like this style. It gave this poetry collection something special!
This poetry collection was the first book I’ve read by Iain S. Thomas and I’m definitely looking forward to reading more of his poetry. I loved reading his poems and so many of them were so relatable or just beautiful in general!

I let you know that I won’t love you.
But my heart has no conscience.

Look at you, like a new tattoo. Because I might not always have you, but I’ll have the feeling of you for the rest of my life.

You love the way air moves. And now I can no longer breathe.
