Pulse tells the story of Rowan, who’s offered to work on a secret project involving a subject with supernatural abilities. The more she studies the subject, the more she’s fascinated, but is it safe for Rowan to study the subject?
I really liked the concept of this story because it’s about a woman and a monster, that feeds on human blood and has supernatural abilities, and not just your typical vampire story. It was such a nice twist and it made me fall in love with this story.
I was really fascinated with the monster because I wanted to know his story and how he became a monster, a so did Rowan. She was so interested and fascinated that she tried to everything to be able to study this monster. I really liked how Rowan as a character even though she wasn’t always that strong.
Pulse was such an interesting read, and an amazing book written by Danielle Koste. I cannot wait to read more books written by her!
