Synopsis

She’s the hospital’s HR director. He’s the new risk manager. He’s also her wildest fantasy…
Is her wildest fantasy worth the risk?

A fantasy about a stranger who kissed her in the thermal baths helps Passi overcome the climax-killing side effects of the medication she needs to deal with the loss of her little boy. When the same man becomes the hospital’s new risk manager, and she sends him an email meant for her best friend detailing the fantasy, things begin to heat up in a way she never expected.

Single dad, Magnus, is intrigued by the woman at the baths and even more so when he discovers he was responsible for her breakthrough climax. But she’s now his HR director, and the reason she needs the medication means she won’t date guys like him. Their desire must remain in the realm of her fantasy letters unless she can risk her heart on all he has to offer.

A Beautiful Risk is the first book in the Love at Lincolnfield series, heart-warming, hot page turners about the love lives of men and women who work at a Chicago hospital.

Review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Colette Dixon!

A Beautiful Risk is the first book in the Love at Lincolnfield series and tells the story of Passi and Magnus. When Passi and Magnus met, they never thought they’d see each other again…

A Beautiful Risk is the first book I’ve ever read by Colette Dixon and I really liked it! I signed up for the cover reveal of Love at Lincolnfield series and when I read the synopsis, I knew that I had to request an ARC copy! I really liked the story and the characters!

Passi and Magnus both went through a lot and it’s been hard for them. Passi’s lost her child and then she knew that she’d never want a child again. Passi and Magnus meet and everything seems amazing until Passi discovers Magnus has a child. Magnus’ wife left him and his son, so it’s hard to open up to another woman again. I love how Passi and Magnus both changed towards the end of the book!

A Beautiful Risk isn’t just a Contemporary Romance book, it’s so much more. It also talks about trust, family, grief, depression, … I love when Romance books aren’t just about the romance, but about so much more. I really liked A Beautiful Risk, and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!
