LOST
We knew each other a lifetime ago. And then…
We lost childhoods. We lost opportunities. We lost love.
Fate is giving us another chance. But a chance at what?
Because even though we’ve been brought back to each other under the worst of circumstances…
We are still. So. Damn. Lost.
FOUND
We found each other where no else could.
Found a purpose. Found ourselves. Found love.
Again.
But then life got in the way.
Three years later and the people that we once were are nowhere to be found.
Can our love survive everything we’ve put it through?
Can we find a way back to each other…
Again?
Review
This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Carrie Aarons!
The Complete Captive Heart Duet contains book 1 and 2, Lost and Found, in the Captive Heart series and tells the story of Charlotte and Tucker.
First I’d like to start my review with my ratings for both books:
Our main characters, Charlotte and Tucker are both so different but they’re both lost. I really liked the way this story began and how everything changed for Charlotte and Tucker. I also really liked the fact that their relationship wasn’t an easy relationship and that they both had to work for it. It’s just more realistic and it makes our characters seem more human (and not fantasy).

Let’s talk about those books. I really liked this duet because it isn’t your average Romance story. This story talks about addiction, dealing with pain, strained (family) relationships, emotional abuse, … The Complete Captive Heart Duet is the darkest book by Carrie Aarons I’ve read so far and I just loved it. I couldn’t stop reading, I had to know what was going to happen to the characters and how this series was going to end.

I was really glad that I could read Lost and Found in a few days and that I didn’t have to wait for the next book to come out. Lost had such a cliffhanger and I just had to know what was going to happen next! The Captive Heart series is yet another amazing series by Carrie Aarons and I cannot wait to read her other books!
