Dark Wish is the first book in a duet and tells the story of Amelia and Eli.
When I read the synopsis of Dark Wish I was really intrigued. It sounded so interesting and I was thinking about how the story was going to go. When I started reading the book, it wasn’t really what I expected. It was so different from what I imagined, but not per se in a bad way. Dark Wish was an interesting read and I really wanted to know how the book was going to end.
I liked Amelia, she’s a bookworm like all of us, and works at a library and a club. I hated her boyfriend and I wanted someone better for her. At the beginning I wasn’t so sure if Eli was something better. The more I read about them, the more I started to ‘understand’ why Eli acted the way he did. I think that Amelia and Eli form an interesting pair and I really want to know more about them in the second book.
I liked reading Dark Wish, it was something different than I normally read. I mean, I have read Dark Romance before but nothing like this. The book was a bit slow, but it was good nonetheless. I liked discovering more about Amelia, Eli and House of Sin. I still have some questions and the book ended with a cliffhanger, so I’m looking forward to reading the second book in the duet, Dark Lies.
