Synopsis

Once upon a time I met four monsters and thought the world would come to an end at their hands.

But I was a fool.
Because I didn’t understand the bigger picture.
That the enemies I thought I knew would become the reason for my entire existence. My strength. My pain. My life. My love.

The big bad wolf has teeth and claws as sharp as iron, and the danger before my eyes is blinding. So blinding that I didn’t see the true danger lurking in the dark.

But now my eyes are wide open and I see it all.

Alone and afraid and running out of time, I’m not afraid of monsters anymore.

I’m counting on them to come for me.

Because if they don’t, this foolish girl might be lost forever in the dark.

Review

This book was provided by the authors in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti!

Queen of Quarantine is the fourth and final book in the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep series and continues the story of Tatum and her four men, Blake, Kyan, Monroe and Saint.

The four horsemen were going to collect their queen. And when they arrived, there would be blood to pay.

Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti did it again. They created another amazing book, and I loved the ending. I’m so happy that I found Caroline and Susanne’s books because they’re one of the best author duos ever. I really enjoyed reading the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep series, it was the perfect series for these Corona times. Queen of Quarantine was absolute perfection. It was such an addictive book with a perfect ending!

She was the light to my dark, the hope in a world without any, the reason for my shackled soul to crave freedom. She’d given me dreams of a life with something more.

I remember reading the first book, Kings of Quarantine, and loving the book and hating some of the guys. Now, I love all four of the guys and I know that I’m going to miss them so much. So much changed from book 1 to book 4, and I loved seeing the character development. I loved how their friendships/relationships changed into a real family. She cannot live without them, and they cannot live without her.

She was never just some girl, never a victim or a means to an end. She was the centre of us. The heart we never believed we had. She’d drawn four lost and hopeless souls into her orbit and claimed each and every one of us as her own, despite the dark and depraved beasts she knew us to be. Without her, we were nothing.

Tatum is still one of the most badass women out there. I think she’s really brave and fierce, and I love how strong she is. She fights for what she wants and she will always protect her family. As for the guys, I don’t have a favourite. I just can’t pick one. All four of them have a special place in my heart. I really love how much the guys have changed and how they became one big family.

"I don’t pity you, Tatum, I fucking worship you. Your pain makes me want to sin, but your strength makes me want to repent. I’m a demon trying to grow wings by standing in the blinding light of you."

Queen of Quarantine is definitely one of my favourite reads of 2021. This book was everything that I needed: filled with action, hot scenes and a beautiful ending. I really loved reading the final few chapters, they made me smile the entire time. There were also so many funny moments in this book, I couldn’t stop laughing! And I also loved how they promoted their other books in this book, lol. I’m so happy that I read and finished the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep and I highly recommend this series!
