Synopsis

One man, one woman, that’s how wolf shifters find their mates and mine is supposed to be the next alpha of our town. But when I kiss Mason on my eighteenth birthday, he rejects me politely, but firmly.
So I leave town, not giving a damn about the succession, determined to make it as a lone wolf.
And I do. I’m strong, capable, able to take down almost any wolf shifter I go against, when I get the call. Dad’s in hospital and I need to come back, to care for him and determine his successor before outright war breaks out.
So why do I feel like a little girl all over again?
I’m right back where I started, being expected to find my true mate, but what if instead of one, there’s several? I know I need to choose, and my heart has: all of them.

Lone Wolf
is the first book in the Reach for the Moon series and tells the story of Paige and her mate(s).

First of all, I want to talk about the cover. I really love the cover and it’s also the reason that I decided to check the synopsis and request an ARC of this book. I really love the colour combination and the girl in the middle. I’m a sucker for strong females on the cover! But the cover isn’t the only good thing about this book. The story was so addictive and interesting, and I couldn’t put this book down. I really loved Lone Wolf and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!

Lone Wolf tells the story of Paige and her finding her mate(s). After reading the synopsis, I was really curious about this book. When I started reading the book, I loved seeing a trigger warning. This book deals with death and grief, and I thought it was amazing that the author put a trigger warning in this book. The death and grieving scenes were really emotional and I had to cry a bit.

Paige is such a strong character. I really loved reading about her because she’s really brave. She left her town and dad to find her true self and I admire that. As for the men, I really liked all of them. There isn’t a single one that I didn’t like. I’m really curious to read more about Micah and I’m really excited for Paige and Mason!

Lone Wolf was such a good book, and there were so damn plot twists. The brothers thing really surprised me, and I even gasped out loud. And the ending… I’m so angry. I really want to know how Paige’s story is going to end and I really want to read her happily ever after. Lone Wolf is the first book I’ve read by Sam Hall and it won’t be the last one! I really loved reading this book and it’s an amazing first book in a series!
