Synopsis

Chaos. Carnage. Killing.
The three Cs that make my life complete.

I know killing technically doesn’t start with a C – but wouldn’t life be better if it did? Just like it would be better if the Devil was my boyfriend, Santa wasn’t a d*ck and I didn’t live under a bridge.

I wished for my life to improve, but it didn’t. I was kidnapped, sold, sold again, stuck in a death game, sold AGAIN and now I’m living in a serial killer’s basement.

Oh and there’s another dude down here who lives in a cage and doesn’t talk. I call him Dead Man on account of his soulless eyes. He either wants to kiss me or choke me out. I can’t decide which I want most.

Anyways, my hot, tattooed, muscular insane Irish captor thinks I might make a good hit woman once he trains me up. Which is a freaking insult by the way as I’m already the best killer in town. Ask anyone. Except the cops. Don’t ask them or they’ll send me back to that creepy asylum where they gave me the crazy pills. But shh, that’s a secret.

Want to know another one? I quite like it here. Every day is anarchy and that’s my favourite flavour.

So I think I’m gonna join The Death Club and let my freak flag fly.

This is a brand new dark menage series set in the same world as the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep series with character crossover. Each series can be read independent of each other and the lead female character will end up with more than one love interest.

Review

This book was provided by the authors in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti!

The Death Club is the first book in the Dead Men Walking series and tells the story of Brooklyn, Niall and Mateo. The Dead Men Walking series is set in the same world as the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep series.

I’m so happy that Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti decided to write a book series about Niall. Niall is such a crazy and interesting character and I always wanted to know more about him since we got some bits and pieces of information about him in the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep series. Now that I finally got my hands on his story, I’m happy to say that I loved this book and I loved his twisted mind.

But if we’re talking about twisted minds, then I’ll definitely have to talk about Brooklyn. Brooklyn is such a crazy character and I was constantly laughing with the things she was thinking and saying. She’s such a special character and I loved reading her thoughts and feelings. Niall was also really interesting because we got to know some more about his past and about Ava. Brooklyn and Niall are both psyxy. Lastly, we have Mateo. I feel like we still don’t know a lot about him, but I really like him. I also think he’s really sweet in a special kind of way.

I really liked Dead Men Walking because it’s a ménage for once. I usually read about monogamous relationships or reverse harem relationships, but I really liked this ménage relationship. RH is really cool and hot, but it’s not always that realistic, in my opinion. With a ménage, it’s kinda more realistic I think. But don’t get me wrong, I still really enjoy reading RH. The relationship between Brooklyn, Niall and Mateo is still really crazy and not a real relationship yet, but I cannot wait to read the others book and see how they will fall in love with each other!

The Death Club was such a good first book in a new series, and I’m so excited for the other books in the Dead Men Walking series. Brooklyn is such a funny character and she cannot stop talking, lol. And Niall and Mateo are such hot men and I cannot wait to read more about them! The Death Club was an amazing read and I enjoyed every bit of it!
