Locked Hearts is the second and final book in the Chained Hearts Duet and continues the story of Sailor and Keir.
When I read Chained Hands, I fell in love with the story. Sailor and Keir were both such interesting characters and I’m a sucker for a good Mafia Romance. I had high expectations for Locked Hearts because of how much I enjoyed reading Chained Hands, and I have to admit that I loved Chained Hands more than I loved Locked Hearts. Don’t get me wrong, Locked Hearts was still an amazing read, but sometimes the main characters could be a bit too annoying. But the overall story was great and I really liked the ending!
Sailor wants to co-parent and doesn’t want her feelings involved while Keir wants everything. I really loved that Keir tried everything for Sailor, he changed and he became the perfect man for Sailor. Sailor, on the other hand, was a bit annoying because she kept pushing Keir away. I get that, it’s a normal reaction, but sometimes it was a bit too much. I think this book could’ve had a bit more romance/spicy stuff. But besides that, I really liked reading about Sailor and Keir!
The Chained Hearts Duet was an amazing duology, and I really enjoyed reading it. T.L. Smith did such an amazing job and she created a great, fast-paced Mafia Romance with interesting characters. I really liked reading about Sailor and Keir, and I would love to read more about Joey and/or Piper! If you’re for a Mafia Romance with an interesting storyline, then I highly recommend the Chained Hearts Duet!
