Synopsis

What do you get when you throw together a couple of psychics, a phoenix, and a wraith?

Death. The answer is always death.

To say I’m having a rough century would be a vast understatement.
I’m on the run, plagued by visions of death, and forced to rely on the man who killed my husband. Yeah, my life is just peachy.

But when the truth shakes out, I find that maybe Rhys didn’t ruin my life those many years ago. Maybe he saved it.

Now, it’s my turn to save us both.

Review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Annie Anderson!

Flame Kissed is the first book in the Phoenix Rising series and tells the story of Aurelia and Rhys.

Flame Kissed has been on my TBR for a while, I own an ebook copy of this book, but when the author reached out to review the revised edition of this book, I was so excited! Annie Anderson has rewritten this book, so I don’t know how the original story went, but I really loved the revised Flame Kissed. Flame Kissed is such an interesting story about phoenixes and wraiths, two supernatural beings that I haven’t read many books about.

Besides reading about interesting supernatural beings, I also really enjoyed reading about Aiden and Ian from the Rogue Ethereal series. I didn’t know that I was going to read about them in this series, but it was so fun reading about them again! I also really enjoyed getting to know Aurelia and Rhys. They both have a horrible past, and it was nice to see them talk again and grow towards each other. Another character that I really liked was Evan. I cannot wait to read her story in Fate Kissed, the third book in the Phoenix Rising series.

Flame Kissed was an amazing Fantasy Romance, and I’m really looking forward to reading the other books in the Phoenix Rising series. I really liked Aurelia and Rhys’ story, and this book was so fast paced and addictive. You really want to know what’s going to happen to the characters. As always, Annie Anderson did an amazing job with this book and I’m sure that I’m going to enjoy the other books in the series!
