Shackled Hearts is the second part of the Lucas and Chanel Duet, set in the Chained Hearts Duet world, and continues the story of Chanel and Lucas.
When I finished Sinful Hands, I was anxiously waiting for the second part in the duet, Shackled Hearts. My brain kept thinking about the awful plot twist and I didn’t know how Chanel and Lucas’ story was going to continue. I’m so happy that I finally read the second part, and that I could read Chanel and Lucas’ happy ending.
This book takes place after what happened in Sinful Hands, and then a few chapters later we have a time jump to two years later. I really liked that because we got to see Chanel and Lucas grow as characters and see how much they have changed. I’m happy that Lucas didn’t give up and that he kept on trying, and I’m also happy that Chanel knows her worth.
Shackled Hearts was an amazing sequel and I really enjoyed reading it. I finished this book in two days because it’s such a good and quick read. If you’re looking for a steamy Mafia Romance with some dark topics, that the Chained Hearts Duet is something for you!
