Synopsis

Every story comes to an end eventually. Maybe ours was never meant to have a happy ending.

I was back in my hometown at last, surrounded by the boys I’ve loved for my entire life, and I’d finally had everything I’d ever wanted. But fate never was kind to this dead girl and we aren’t done fighting to claim our happily ever after.

This might not be a fairy tale, but I swear on all I am that I’ll defeat the villain of our story before it’s done. The only question left to answer is whether or not we’ll all live to see him die.

I’ll do whatever it takes to get revenge for everything Shawn has taken from us and claim the ending we deserve. But it’s gonna be one hell of a ride to get there.

This is the final book in the Harlequin Crew series. Beware of dark themes, devious villains and beautiful men with blackened souls. This series is part of the United States of Anarchy universe and there are some characters which cross over with other series in this world including Kings of Quarantine and The Death Club but each dark and twisted tale can be read independently.

Review

This book was provided by the authors in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti!

Gallows Bridge is the fifth and final book in The Harlequin Crew series and continues the story of Rogue and her guys Chase, Fox, JJ and Maverick.

I’m always sad after finishing an amazing book series. The Harlequin Crew series was such a good series filled with fun characters, crazy moments, plot twists and spice! I’m really happy that I picked up this series because I fell in love with Rogue, Chase, Fox, JJ and Maverick, and I was so excited for their happy ending. And Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti gave us a damn happy ending! I really enjoyed reading the last few chapters, I couldn’t stop smiling and I’m so excited to see what they’re going to write next in the United States of Anarchy World!

"Maybe we’re the chaos of the universe given flesh. But isn’t there something fucking perfect in that?"

Gallows Bridge continues Rogue’s story, and a lot of shit happened. I’m really happy that we get to read in Rogue’s POV, but also in the men’s POV, Shawn’s POV, Luther’s POV and even one chapter in Saint’s POV (Kings of Quarantine) and one in Niall’s POV (The Death Club). It’s so nice to read in so many POV’s because they’re well-written, and you get to know the characters better and you get to see what’s really happening. I also really liked that we got to read about some characters from Kings of Quarantine series and The Death Club series, and it was fun reading the references to Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti’s Fae books.

"I wish I could tell you that I love you as catastrophically as the loss of you broke me. That this kind of ruin is a far sweeter destruction to endure, and that I would never choose any other downfall but this."

I’m really sad that The Harlequin Crew series is over, but I’m also really happy. Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti gave us an amazing ending for the series. Rogue and her men got their happy ending, and more! I highly recommend checking out The Harlequin Crew books if you’re looking for big Reverse Harem Romance books with fun twists and spice!
