When I discovered Deadly Affair, I knew that I was going to enjoy reading this book. I’ve read a few books written by Ivy Fox, and I’ve read one book by K.A. Knight, and I really liked reading their books. Their Romance stories are so well-written and addictive. So when I started reading Deadly Affair, I had some high expectations. This book was everything that I wanted, and then some. The story and the characters were interesting, and it was hard to put this book down!
Deadly Affair is about Layla and Alaric. Layla is our female main character and she’s been through a lot while trying to take care of her little sister, Zoey. Alaric isn’t your typical male love interest, he’s older and he’s a hitman and a stalker. And did I say hot? Because damn… Although he’s a bit crazy, it’s hard not to fall in love with Alaric. I really liked reading about our main characters, and about their sort of friendship turning into more.
Deadly Affair was an amazing, fast-paced Romance story with a broody stalker/hitman and a broken girl. I really loved seeing the characters grow and change towards the end of the book, and I’m a sucker for happy endings. I really liked Layla and Alaric’s story, and I’m so excited to read the next book in the Deadly Love series, Deadly Match! Let’s hope it’s out soon!
