Review
This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you T.L. Smith!
Reckless Hands is the first part of the Joey and Adora Duet, set in the Chained Hearts Duet world, and tells the story of Joey and Adora.
After reading Keir’s story and Lucas’ story, I was eagerly waiting for Joey’s story. Joey has been claimed to be the ‘nice guy’, and I wanted to know if he really was a nice guy. And let me tell you: he is… I really enjoyed getting to know Joey and Adora, and reading their arranged marriage story. Reckless Hands was so well-written and addictive, I had to know what was going to happen, and that damn plot twist…
Joey and Adora are two different people. Joey is a Mafia man who believes in marriage. Adora is a bookstore owner who’s interested in men and women. Joey and Adora have an arranged marriage and Joey wants to try but Adora doesn’t want the marriage at all. Adora was really sassy and I really enjoyed that. The banter and the spice between Joey and Adora was amazing. I really loved Joey in Reckless Hands because he did so much for Adora.
Reckless Hands was such an amazing book, and I read it so fast. I couldn’t stop reading, and I had to how this book was going to end. Of course, this book ended with a cliffhanger, and I cannot wait for the next book in the duet, Arranged Hands. I really need to read how Joey and Adora’s story is going to end. I’m so excited for their happily ever after, and luckily the sequel comes out in September!
