Gorgeous Monster is the first book in the Marchetti Mafia series and tells the story of Natalia and Cristian.
I’m a big fan of Charity Ferrell’s Blue Beech series and Twisted Fox series, so when I heard she was going to write something darker, I was really excited. I’m a big fan of the Mafia Romance genre, I’ve read so many Mafia books that I want a Mafia man for myself. When I started reading Gorgeous Monster, I kind of noticed that it was Charity Ferrell’s first time writing something darker, but it didn’t bother me at all. The more I read, the more I enjoyed reading about Natalia and Cristian.
Natalia is Cristian’s daughter’s best friend. I really like Natalia because she knows what she wants and she goes for it. She’s not afraid of Cristian, and I loved her big mouth. Cristian is your typical Mafia dad, but he had a different side that I really loved reading about. Natalia and Cristian shared some special moments, and they really made me smile while reading about them. And the spice between them was amazing!
Gorgeous Monster was such a good book, and the perfect first book in a series. I really enjoyed getting to know the main characters and the side characters. I’m really looking forward to reading Benny’s story in Gorgeous Prince. This book comes with some triggering content, so please read the author’s note before starting the book. Also this book has Age Gap Romance, if this isn’t something for you, please don’t pick up this book. For those who do like Age Gap Romance, you will love this book!
