Synopsis

Roxanna Raine was going through the motions, too afraid to live her life … that was until now.

Rox
My best friend hates me.
I thought giving in to his wants would fix us.
That only made things worse.
Now, I must choose between what’s best for him and what’s best for my sanity.
For the first time ever, I’m choosing myself.
I really hope it doesn’t come back to bite me.

Wran
If Rox thought I’d let her go, she thought wrong.
I’ve waited a lifetime to have her.
To feel worthy of her.
Now that I do, I’m not letting anyone tear us apart again.

Review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you T. Marie Alexander!

The Worthy and the Willful is the third and final book in the Kingston City Limits series and continues the story of Rox and Wran.

It’s been a while since I read the first and second book in the Kingston City Limits series, so it took a few chapters to remember what happened in the previous books. By reading my reviews for the first and the second book, I knew that I liked the concept of this series, but that the characters were somewhat annoying. I still have the same feeling about the concept, but not the characters per se. In The Worthy and the Willful, the characters still did some weird stuff or had some questionable thinking, but it’s the last book in the series and it ended on a happy note. It didn’t bother me that much anymore.

The Worthy and the Willful is about Rox and Wran. Rox is trying to get custody of her child while dealing with a lot of drama and different relationships (friend/lover/family). Wran is trying to win back Rox, the love of his life. Rox and Wran are ‘special’ characters and you either love them or hate them. To me, it’s a love/hate relationship. I didn’t always like their actions or thinking, but I did love them together. They make a great couple.

I’m happy that Rox and Wran got their happy ending, and I’m glad that this series is finished. I don’t know what I would do if this book ended with a cliffhanger, lol. The Kingston City Limits series is filled with drama, angst, romance and so much more. If you’re into that, then maybe these books are something for you!
