Synopsis

The body count is rising. The only way to save Una is to let her go.

Una is the only person who has ever captured my attention. I’m grateful she only spends the summer with us. But now she’s here, all grown up, and this time, I don’t think I can stay away from her.

Una starts partying with Darragh, who’s wild an unpredictable. Bodies seem to stack up wherever he goes. Before, it annoyed me cleaning up his mess, but now I have Una to consider, Una to protect.

Our family isn’t the average. We are belly deep in the criminal world, and the closer Una gets to me, the closer she gets to my world which seems to be spiralling out of control.

The only way to stop her from seeing this world is to let her go, but now that I have her, I’m not sure letting her go is an option.

Review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Vi Carter!

Vicious Irish is the second book in the Wild Irish series and tells the story of Shane and Una.

I’ve read a few books by Vi Carter and this is definitely one of the most interesting series because I love Ireland and this whole series is about an Irish Mafia family. I really liked that Vi Carter decided to write this series because it’s a bit different than her A Broken Heart series and All of Me series.

I really loved the main characters, Shane and Una. They both want each other, but they can’t because they’re basically family. I really love complicated relationships because you really get to know the characters. You get to see whether they’ll risk it all or not. The double perspective also really helps with getting to know the characters, you can read what they’re thinking and feeling.

I also loved that Vi Carter gave Finn and Shiobhan an appearance in Vicious Irish so we know how they’re doing. For those that don’t know: Finn and Shiobhan are the main characters from Wild Irish. I’m happy that I could read about them again because I really liked them.

Vicious Irish was an amazing sequel and I cannot wait to read the other books in the Wild Irish series and I’m curious which brother will be the main character in the third book.
