Synopsis
A secret society.
A forbidden crush.
And an unsolved murder…
Emily Danes expected the tough classes at Campbell College, one of the most exclusive and prestigious universities in the world. She expected the ivy-covered halls. She expected the money.
She didn’t see Wolf Astor coming.
Obscenely wealthy, socially connected, and heart-stoppingly gorgeous, he’s everything she ever dreamed of in a man.
He’s also a total prick.
But at a place like Campbell College, there’s no escape. Not from Wolf, and not from the secrets hidden behind the graceful facades of the campus.
With every day that passes, she’s drawn deeper into the underbelly of the wealthy and privileged at Campbell: a secret society known as the Skulls & Thorns.
And with a murderer loose on campus, she’s running out of time to escape.
Review
This book was provided by the authors through Give Me Books Promotions in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Vivian Wood, Amelia Wilde and Give Me Books Promotions!
Wicked Games is the first book in the series and tells the story of Emily and Wolf.
This is the first book I’ve read by Vivian Wood and Amelia Wilde and I’m really happy that I requested this book. When I read the synopsis, I knew that I was going to like this book. But I don’t ‘like’ it, no I love it! Wicked Games is mysterious, sexy and addictive!
There was a love triangle in Wicked Games but it was always clear who Emily was going to choose. I did like that Emily took her time to decide whether or not she wanted to be in a relationship. You don’t see that often in books but it’s reality. You don’t always immediately go for a guy that you just met.
One negative point is that there were a lot of ‘fast forwards’ in the book. I think that some parts would’ve been a good that they were in the book such as Emily’s first kiss with Max. But besides the ‘fast forwards’, I really loved this book.
Wicked Games is an amazing New Adult/Romance book and I cannot wait to read Max’ story!
