Synopsis

For bookstore owner Lydia Townsend, another geographical move doesn’t faze her. She doesn’t even bat an eyelash at one more curveball thrown into her life plan. Five years running from a man who broke her heart, and her spirit, has taught her to keep her walls up.

Scared to trust again, Lydia swears to keep all men off limits. Even Aaron Casey, who seems too perfect to be true. With a daughter to protect and a life to build, she simply can’t afford to let her guard down.

But when William Davis, a seventy-something recovering alcoholic, steps into Lydia’s bookstore for the first time, holding the secret to saving both of their lives, she might have to learn that trusting a man with her life is just as dangerous as trusting one with her heart.

Review

This book was provided by the author through InkSlinger PR in exchange for an honest review. Thank you J. Lynn Bailey and InkSlinger PR!

Lilies on Main is the fourth book in the Granite Harbor series and tells the story of Lydia and Aaron. Although this is the fourth book in the series, it can be read as a standalone.

Lilies On Main was yet another amazing book in the Granite Harbor series and I loved the story. I had some It Ends with Us (Colleen Hoover) vibes and I loved that this book was mentioned in Lilies On Main. I think that this book and It Ends with Us have such a strong message and both of these books are somewhat heartbreaking.

Lilies on Main talks about two characters, Lydia and Aaron. Lydia has a past and she doesn’t really like talking about it. She just wants to keep herself and her daughter safe from the man that broke her heart. Aaron is the perfect guy for Lydia although she doesn’t really want to open up to him. Lilly, Lydia’s daughter, is also such a cute and funny character, I loved reading about her!

I think that Lilies on Main was such a beautiful book and I couldn’t stop reading. I really wanted to know what was going to happen to Lydia and Aaron, and I loved that their romance was a bit slow burn. Lilies on Main was such a good book and I cannot wait to read the next J. Lynn Bailey book!
