Review

This book was provided by the author through InkSlinger PR in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Jennifer L. Armentrout and InkSlinger PR!

The King is a novella in the Wicked series and tells the story of Brighton and Caden. Although this is set in a series, it can be read as a standalone.

The King is the first book I’ve read in the Wicked series and I really liked it. It makes me want to read the first three books in the series as well as the other novella. I really liked the world Jennifer L. Armentrout has created and I really like the characters.

Even though I didn’t read The Prince novella, I could easily follow the story of Brighton and Caden. Brighton is such a strong person, she’s been through a lot before this book and in this book. I also really like Caden because he’s just so hot, oops.

The King was an amazing novella and I cannot wait to read the next novella as well as the four other books in the series. Jennifer L. Armentrout is one of my favourite authors and she did an amazing job with The King!
