The Darkest Assassin is a novella in the Lords of the Underworld series and tells the story of Fox and Bjorn. You don’t have to read the Lords of the Underworld series to be able to read this novella.

As I mentioned in my review of The Darkest Captive, I loved coming back to the Lords of the Underworld series. I’m planning on reading the other book is the LotU series since I’ve only read the first three books and two novellas. The Darkest Assassin was yet another amazing book set in this world and I really enjoyed it!

I loved reading about Fox and Bjorn, I couldn’t stop smiling the entire time. Fox is such a badass female character, and you cannot not love her. Bjorn is another amazing character. He’s so hot and I love how he is when he’s around Fox. Fox and Bjorn are both somewhat broken and that makes them the perfect couple!

The Darkest Assassin was yet another great book by Gena Showalter! Lords of the Underworld is such an amazing Paranormal Romance series, and I cannot wait to read the other books in the series. I love that every book focuses on a different couple, and the books I’ve read so far are so well written and fast paced!
