Review
This book was provided by the authors through Wildfire Marketing Solutions in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Carrie Gray, Coralee June and Wildfire Marketing Solutions!
Aggro is a Mystery Romance about Breeze’s best friend being murdered and Breeze being confused by her feelings for two boys, Chase and Kai.
I read and loved Carrie Gray and Coralee June’s first book, Looking to Score, and when I found out they were writing another book together, I just had to read it! This book is so different from Looking to Score, but in a good way. Aggro is such an addictive read, and you don’t see the end coming at all. There were many times that I was shocked or surprised and I loved it! Carrie Gray and Coralee June killed it!
When I need to review books, I usually write down a few things while reading, but with Aggro, I kept writing theories of who killed Violet. I’m laughing at my notes now that I finished the book, because I guessed wrong. Carrie Gray and Coralee June really surprised me with the ending, and I’m here for it. I also loved the diary entries from Violet, I thought that she was this specific person, and turns out she’s completely different from what I imagined.
As for the other characters, I really loved Breeze. I could totally relate to her because we’re so alike. I always love reading about characters that have the same personality as me, because I can relate to them and usually understand them better. As for the guys, I liked Kai more than Chase. From the beginning of the book, I was intrigued by Kai and I loved reading in his POV.
Something that I also really liked about this book is that it’s so realistic. Aggro also talks about grief, guilt and needing to process things. I loved that Breeze and X (I don’t want to spoil you) didn’t immediately jump into their relationship again, but took the time to think about their feelings, etc.
Aggro was such an amazing book and I didn’t expect anything else from Carrie Gray and Coralee June. They’re definitely one of my favourite writing duos and I cannot wait to read their next book!

I have always loved to read. In kindergarten, I was the weird kid sitting in the reading nook by myself instead of trying to get more snacks. I’m excited to be putting my own voice on the page and watching a story I helped create come to life. I still love to read, but I also really like snacks.
I grew up in Chicago but recently moved back to the Dallas area where I live with my husband and son.
I have my Bachelor of Science in Biology. I spent a year researching chimpanzees and gorillas while I was in Chicago and then I spent another two months on a chimpanzee sanctuary trying to convince headstrong chimps to cooperate. Pro tip - grapes are a pretty hot bargaining tool. They work wonders with my toddler too.
