I had my chance to run from these brutal boys and I didn’t take it. The bonds between us are too strong now. Bonds of blood, oaths, betrayal and vengeance. And I intend to make good on all of them. I’ve made my list. And I won’t stop until each and every one of their crimes has been paid for.
Divide and conquer. We’re going to tear them apart from the inside out. I won’t quit until I’ve had my pound of flesh and then some. These broken boys paint themselves up as kings and stand themselves on a pedestal above everybody else. But that only means they’ve got further to fall. And they’re going to fall hard.
I know their strength now, but I’ve learned their weaknesses too. And I might just be becoming their greatest one. My father taught me how to survive, and it’s time to use everything I know about predators to lure them into my own trap.
Lies, betrayal, seduction. I’ll use every weapon at my disposal to bring them to their knees and once I’m done with them, they won’t own me.
I’ll own them.
This is book 2 in a dark romance series with love-hate themes, scenes of intense bullying, sexual scenes and may have triggers for some readers. It is a reverse harem which means the main character will end up with multiple partners.

Review
This book was provided by the authors in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti!
Kings of Lockdown is the second book in the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep series and continues the story of Tatum and her four men, Blake, Kyan, Monroe and Saint.
Revenge is a bitch and I am her.
Kings of Lockdown was another crazy read by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti… So many things happened in this book and the ending… Don’t get me started. I’m kinda pissed at Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti, but to be honest, I didn’t expect anything else from this writing duo. They always write these kinds of endings. I’m still processing Kings of Lockdown’s ending and I hope we’ll get book 3 really soon!
A lot of things happened in this book, and it changed the characters. I definitely see some character development when I compare book 1 and 2. Tatum is still a badass and strong character, but in Kings of Lockdown, she’s even more badass for punishing the guys. As for the men, I started to like, and even love, all of them which wasn’t the case for book 1. I didn’t really like Blake and Saint, but now they both have a special place in my heart. I still don’t like their bullying, but all four guys have been opening up about their past and/or feelings, and I just couldn’t not love them for that.
I’m worried about you getting hurt, not trying to stand in the way of your feminine right to fuck as many guys as you like.
I really loved reading Kings of Lockdown, it was such an amazing, well-written and fast-paced read. I kept on reading and reading, the story was so addictive. Kings of Lockdown is full of surprises and sexual tension, and I couldn’t get enough of it. I highly recommend Kings of Lockdown and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!
