Review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you J.N. Eagles!

Kings and Queens is a poetry collection about a young queen who’s trying to find herself and her place in the world.

Kings and Queens is the first poetry collection I’ve read by J.N. Eagles and I’m pleasantly surprised. I’ve never read a poetry collection like this one before. Kings and Queens tells the story of a young Queen, and all the poems tell one big Fantasy story. I think this is really original!

Although I did enjoy reading Kings and Queens, it felt like I missed some details and depth. Maybe I’d enjoyed this poetry collection a bit more if the poems were longer and gave more details than just a general overview of what happened to the queen. But besides that, I liked Kings and Queens.

If you’re looking for a quick poetry read, then Kings and Queens is definitely something for you. I enjoyed this collection and I liked the illustrations. The illustrations added something extra to this book. I also liked the fact that the dedication was in theme with the poetry collection.
