Synopsis
**This is a 10k word SHORT STORY prequel that has a massive cliffhanger. It is for CoraLee June’s upcoming Bloody Royals trilogy.**
I’ve been in love with Prince Augustus for as long as I can remember, but he keeps pushing me away, into the arms of another…
Atticus is a dangerous flirt; he could steal my heart if I’d let him.
Leo, my fierce protector, speaks to me on a soul-deep level, unlike any I’ve ever known.
All three of them hint at something more, but they aren’t the only ones staking a claim on my body. There’s evil stalking in the shadows of the castle, and he wants me, too.
I’ll fight for my freedom and flee if I have to, but it’ll require leaving parts of my heart behind. I just have to hope that if it comes to that, one day, fate will bring us back together.
**Warning this book contains scenes and references of abuse/assault that some readers may find triggering. Along with graphic violence.
Review
This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Coralee June!
No Such Fling is a short story prequel set in the Bloody Royals series and tells the story of Christine.
When Coralee June announced that she was writing the Bloody Royals series, I got so excited. I’m a big fan of Coralee June’s writing and I love her reverse harem books. Coralee June did such a good job with this short story prequel. It left me wanting more, I want to get the know the characters better and I want to know what’s going to happen next to the characters.
No Such Fling is about Christine and Prince Augustus, Atticus the Prince’s friend and Leo the Prince’s bodyguard. I immediately got the vibes that all three men want Christine but that she doesn’t realise it (yet). I really liked getting to know the characters and I’m looking forward to getting to know them even better in the other books in the Bloody Royals series.
No Such Fling was an amazing short story and the perfect introduction for the Bloody Royals series. Please note the trigger warning in the synopsis, this book has some difficult scenes in it. I’m really excited for the first book in the series, No Such King, and I cannot wait for it to be January!
