Synopsis

A puppet, a prince, and a playboy. One arranged marriage. Three men I must keep at arm’s length.

Atticus Dupont has been watching me from a distance, controlling my life like he controls the seedy criminal underground. He longs to own my mind, body, and soul.

Leo Winthrop is willing to do whatever it takes to protect me from the horrors of this castle, even if it means being cruel and pushing me away.

and Prince Augustus? He’s a reluctant royal that would rather sleep his way through court than be forced into an arranged marriage with me.

I fled the kingdom four years ago, planning to never return.

But the king is dead.

The kingdom is in chaos.

My duty makes it impossible to walk away.

One thing I know for sure: I have to open my cracked heart, because this crown is too heavy for one lover to bear.

This is a reverse harem royal romance.

Review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Coralee June!

No Such King is the first book in the Bloody Royals series and tells the story of Christine and the three men Augustus, Atticus and Leo.

After reading the novella set in the Bloody Royals series, No Such Fling, I was so interested in Christine’s story. What was going to happen to her, did she change as a character, who did she end up with, … I was so excited to read No Such King, and when I finally got my hands on the book, I was so sad when I already finished it. Coralee June is such an amazing author, and her books leave me wanting more. I wanted more of Christine and her men, and luckily I will get more in the second book, haha.

No Such King takes place 3 years after No Such Fling. Christine is older and she’s changed. When she returns to Aldrich, she finally sees Augustus, Atticus and Leo again… She wants to leave, but they make her stay. I really loved reading in Christine’s POV, I love her as a character. She’s relatable and I love her different sides. As for the men, I’m not sure who’s my favourite yet. Every man has different traits that I like, so I’m curious to see which one will be my favourite after finishing the trilogy. I did like all of them in No Such King though.

No Such King was such an amazing first book, and it gave some high expectations for the next book in the series, No Such Queen. As I mentioned before, Coralee June is amazing. I love how she comes up with these crazy characters and interesting stories. No Such King was so well-written and it was hard to put this book down! I highly recommend this book if you’re looking for a reverse harem with a royal setting. Please read the synopsis No Such Fling for trigger warnings, this book has some difficult scenes in it such as r*pe.
