Synopsis
A witch determined to prove her loyalty. A bear with a broken heart. And a chicken who won’t be left behind...
(Even if it makes a nuisance of itself…)
Bron
I’m minding my own business, tending my bar, when a witch bursts in and calls me a thief. Naturally, I have to prove my innocence.
Adeline
He’s the most irritating bear shifter I’ve ever met. Gorgeous, rugged, perceptive, and his bear has the audacity to be sweet to me when I’m at my prickliest. He clearly had something to do with the crown’s disappearance.
Now we’re stuck together, trying to find the crown whose power could grant us our most desperate wishes and heal our deepest wounds... or tear us apart.
(If only the chicken didn’t insist on coming along for the ride, but hey, if we don’t make it, at least there’ll be a witness. Of sorts.)
**Crown Me is a grumpy not-so-sunshine standalone romantasy novella with fated mates and spice.
It’s set in the Immortal Vices and Virtues Universe, where every book is a guaranteed happily ever after with a satisfying ending and no cliffhangers. Perfect for fans of Immortals After Dark, Black Dagger Brotherhood, and the Demonica series.

Review
This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Everly Frost!
Crown Me is the third standalone book in the fourth season of Immortal Vices and Virtues: All Hallows' Eve, and tells the story of Adeline and Bron.
Crown Me is already the third book in the fourth Immortal Vices and Virtues season?! It's so nice that the release dates are close next to each other because you don't have to wait long to read the next novella. Each novella can be easily finished in one day (if you have the time, of course) so it's nice to read a novella a day during spooky season. For those who are not familiar with the Immortal Vices and Virtues universe, this universe consists of four seasons, and each season has several Romantasy standalone books written by different authors/author duos. Each book ends with a happy ending, and some books have characters that have been introduced in a previous book. Which is a nice bonus because you get to read about previous characters again!
Crown Me is the third book in the new season, All Hallows' Eve. Like the previous two books, the third book has a beautiful cover with tiny details matching the story, in this case for example a bear. Our male main character, Bron, is a bear shifter hence the bear on the cover, and our female main character, Adeline, is a witch. Crown Me is a short Romantasy about a bear shifter and a witch who need to find a lost object together. Since this is a novella, there's not a lot of room for a big storyline and character development, and you can tell with this one. For me, the characters felt a little flat, I didn't really connect with them. The story in general is still nice, but there was something lacking for me. In the first season, Everly Frost wrote Corrupt Me, I enjoyed that book more than Crown Me, but it also wasn't my favourite book in the first season. Maybe this author isn't just for me.
Crown Me was a short Romantasy novella, perfect for when you want a short read in between big books or if you want to easily complete your reading challenge. For me, this is for now my least favourite book in the fourth season, Immortal Vices and Virtues: All Hallows' Eve, but it was still an enjoyable read. I really like reading short books with happy endings and I'm easily entertained. I'm really looking forward to the next novella in the Immortal Vices and Virtues universe!
