The fun questions | Tag

Hi! I decided to do a personal tag, here we go:

1. When is your birthday?
27th February. I kinda hate it because it's the same date as my sister's birthday. She's 1 year older than me, but our birthday is 27th February...

2. What are 3 of your favourite colors?
I want to say black because I always wear black, but black isn't really a colour. So I will go for: blue, purple and red.

3. What are your 3 favourite quotes?
I think it's hard to have a favourite quote, especially 3 quotes, so I'm going to type the most recent quote I used:

Have no fear of perfection, you'll never reach it.

4. Are you addicted to YouTube?

5. What are 3 of your favourite shows on TV or YouTube or both?
My favourite TV shows are The Vampire Diaries, Shadowhunters and Vikings. And lately I like to watch Jeffreestar, Shaaanxo and Sarah's Spark on YouTube. Make sure to check them out!

6. What are 3 qualities you like in a best friend?
Bookaddicted, weird and honest.

7. Do you like your name?
I don't know why but I've thought about changing my name when I was younger, but I'm happy with my name. I like that I have an Enlgish name even though I'm from Belgium.

8. If you have the choice to pick your own name, what will it be?
Lately I like the name Lily/Auburn so maybe that would be name.

9. What is your fantasy dream?
I have this werid fantasy thing that I'm an alien and they planted me in my mother's belly. Lol, I keep telling it to my friends because I'm so weird.

10. Do you wear makeup?
I LOVE to wear makeup. I love eyeshadow, eyeliner and higlighter but I'm not the type of person to put foundation on my skin and contour everyting. I don't have something against people who use foundation and contour, but I like my (sun) freckles and I don't want to hide them.

11. What makes you cry?
A lot of things lately... Sometimes I can be depressed and don't know what to do, or don't know what makes me happy anymore. My future scares me, I'm not that social and it's hard for me to make new f'riends and next year I'll be in college with a lot of people I don't know and that terrifies me.

12. What makes you angry?
Dishonest people. I don't get why you would lie, it doens't make life easier. For example there's this guy at my school who has a girlfriend. On a party he kissed the girlfriend's friend and he and that friend lied to the girlfriend by telling that they didn't kissed. I don't get that you can lie to your girlfriend the entire time. They're still together and she doesn't know that it's all a lie.

13.What makes you happy?
My boyfriend, my friends, my cat and books make me happy. There are some days that I feel like shit and my boyfriend always makes me happy, so thank you Nick! My friends also help me through my bad days and I can laugh with them all the time. My cat is so weird, but I love her so much. And of course books... I love reading so it's obvious that books make me happy!

14. What is "Fangirling?"
Fangirling is freaking about books, movies, characters and so on. You can't stop talking about the thing that your freaking about and you have to share it with your friends. Is that a good definiton? :)

15. What are your 3 favorites snacks?
I like to eat fruit as a snack but I also love chocolate and waffles.

16. What are your 3 favorite foods?
Spaghetti, mac n' cheese and meatballs in tomato sauce (made by my granny).

17. What are your 3 favorite drinks?
Water, Ice Tea Green and alcohol (beer, wodka, cava,...). I sound like an alcoholic, sorry!

18. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Well I'm a shy Belgian girl who loves reading more than going outside. I have a boyfriend and a black cat. I'm graduating at the end of June and I'm going to study at a College in September. I love rain and music and I can be creative. I work at a fruit and vegetable store. I got 9 earrings in total and a side lip piercing.
If you want to know more, just ask! :)

Confess | Review

Title: Confess
Author: Colleen Hoover
Pages: 307 pages
Version: Paperback
Publisher: Atria

Rating: ★★★★★

Maybe we don't know love like an adult knows love, but we sure as hell feel it. And right now, it feels imminently heartbreaking.

Confess tells the story of Auburn and Owen. Auburn is 21 years old and works at a salon. After work she came across a studio with confessions. And like fate she meets Owen. Owen is 22-years-old painter and just broke up with his girlfriend. He needs someone to work for him and then he sees Auburn.
They get to know each other more and that might not be such a good idea...

The sadness feels like warmth creeping it's way up my chest, creating an insurmountable pressure the closer it gets to my heart.

Confess is yet another amazing book written by Colleen Hoover. I love Auburn and Owen. I love that Auburn doesn't go all the way immediately and debates wether or not it's smart to work for a complete stranger.
Owen is such a good and cute guy. He sacrifices himself for his father and does everything for Auburn. He's one of the best book boyfriends I've read so far. And his
initials are 'OMG' and that's one of the best ways to describe Owen.
"I think love is a hard word to define," I say to her. "You can love a lot of things about a person but still not love the whole person."

I love that Colleen Hoover always has a different story to write about, she's so original. What I also love is that the proffesions the guys perform are cool. Like Owen is a painter, Miles (Ugly Love) is a pilot, Ridge (Maybe Someday) is a musician,... I cannot wait to read another book by Colleen Hoover!

May Favourites 2016

In the month of May I came across some good books, cute make-up and some other things:
  • November 9 by Colleen Hoover
November 9 is yet another amazing book written by Colleen Hoover. November 9 tells the story of Fallon and Ben and how they met. They meet every year on 9th November and tell each other what they did in that year. Here you can find out more about the book.
  • Catrice Higlighter Powder: Stardust 010
Stardust is such a beautiful colour! It's soft pink and is so beautiful on my pale skin. I like to wear this to go out and have fun with friends and some people have complimented me when I was wearing Stardust.
  • City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare
City of Heavenly Fire is the sixt and last book in The Mortal Instruments series. CoHF was so amazing and there were so many plot twists. Most of the time I think that books as thick as CoHF contain a lot of unneccesery details, but CoHF was perfect. I cannot wait to read other books by Cassandra Clare! Here you can find out more about the book.
(Sorry for the picture but I already brought CoHF back to the library)
  • Body Love by Mary Lambert
Body Love is such a beautiful song and even though I already know the song for a long time, I'm listening to it a lot lately. I don't always feel pretty or wanted and there are times that I cut myself to feel better, and this song describes it oh so well. Every time I listen to this song it's like I listen to a new song. Every time I get the same feeling over and over again. Mary Lambert is so talented and I like her music (even though I'm the type that listens to Metalcore and Hardcore). Here you can find the live video.
  • Maybe Not by Colleen Hoover
Maybe Not is the 1.5 book in the Maybe series by Colleen Hoover and is told in the perspective of Warren. It was such an amazing book even though it was more or less 110 pages long! I enjoyed reading it. Here you can find out more about the book.
(I borrowed Maybe Not from a friend and that's the reason why I couldn't take a picture with the flowers on the background, sorry!)
  • Bloomings Tea Apple & Lemon Lavender
I went to the Action (a store in Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, France, Luxembourg and Austria) and I saw this cute looking can and I wanted to taste it. It has a sweet flavour and I really like it.  You also have another flavour: Peach & Lemon Orange Blossom. When I'm going back to the store, I'll definetly buy this one and the other flavour! The site on the can isn't available so click here for the Dutch Facebook page of Bloomings Tea.

These were my favourites of May, I hope you enjoyed it!
