I’m really happy with everything that I’ve bought! The I Heart Makeup Palette is so pretty and I’ve created a make-up look with the palette and you can find it on Twitter. I really like the Lottie London lipsticks and lip liners. I have tried the Max & More Primer but I’m not sure if there’s any effect because I just use concealer and not foundation. The Max & More Shape & Blush palette is AMAZING! The pigment is there!!! I haven’t tried the setting spray yet because I’m trying to empty another setting spray. The DUO lash glue is really good but it’s a little hard to remove all of the glue from my falsies. And the last product that I’ve bought is the Park Avenue Blender Sponge. I was planning on buying the Real Techniques sponge that looks like the PA one, but it was a lot more expensive in Di. I’ve used the sponge once and I really liked how my concealer looked!
Overall I’m really happy with what I’ve bought and I don’t think that I’ve spent too much! 😉

The Little Red Wolf | Review

Title: The Little Red Wolf
Author: Amélie Fléchais
Pages: 80 pages
Version: Ebook (ARC)
Publisher: Diamond Book Distributors
Release date: 3rd October 2017

This book was provided by the publisher through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Netgalley and Diamond Book Distributors!

The Little Red Wolf tells the story of a little wolf who wants to bring a rabbit to his grandmother and comes across a young girl. The young girl seems sweet and innocent, but in reality she's not. She's going to capture and kill the little wolf...

The Little Red Wolf is such a nice and enjoyable read. I really loved the way they made the graphic novel, it's drawn so beautifully! I also really like the concept: they changed it about humans hunting wolves. The story is not just the wolf being switched by the human, but there's also another twist in the story. I really liked The Little Red Wolf and I cannot wait to discover more cute graphic novels like this one!

La Famille Bélier | Review

Title: La Famille Bélier
Directed by: Éric Lartigau & Philippe Rousselt
Produced by: Éric Jehelmann, Stéphanie Bermann, Victoria Bedos and Stanislas Carré de Malberg

Written by: Thomas Bidegain & Éric Lartigau

La Famille Bélier tells the story of Paula Bélier and her family. Paula is the only hearing person in her family, her mother, father and brother are all deaf. Her family also has a farm so she's in charge of dealing with customers. Besides being their translator, she's going to school and starts to sing at a school orchestra. She loves singing and her teacher finds out she has an amazing voice. Besides singing, she's also falling in love...

La Famille Bélier is such a beautiful and funny movie. I enjoyed watching it! I loved the fact that there was French sing language. I'm used to watching Switched at Birth, so American sign language, and I loved seeing the differences and similarities in the sign language. Besides the sign language, I also loved the singing. Paula (or Louane in real life) has such a beautiful voice and I loved watching her sing. She's so talented!

I watched this movie because I knew Louane was going to play Paula, and I didn't regret that decision. I loved watching the movie and I'll definitely see it again! The second reason that I watched this movie was to improve my French. For those who also want to see the movie: there are English subtitles. I highly recommend this movie and now I want to watch more French movies and movies with Louane in it!

This book was provided by the publisher through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Netgalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing!

Lady Stuff: Secrets to Being a Woman are little comics about Loryn Brantz’s everyday experiences. The comics are about animals, friends, love and naps.

Lady Stuff: Secrets to Being a Woman is such a funny, lighthearted read. I couldn't stop smiling while going through the comics. Some of them were so relatable and hilarious! I've seen some of Loryn Brantz's work on Facebook or Twitter, but never saw all of them. This collection is so funny and I'll definitely read it again!

For those interested, here are some comics I thought were really funny and relatable:

Breaking Up Is Hard To Do... But You Could've Done Better | Review

Title: Breaking Up Is Hard To Do... But You Could've Done Better
Author: Hilary Campbell
Pages: 150 pages
Version: Ebook (ARC)
Publisher: Animal Media Group

This book was provided by the publisher through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Netgalley and Animal Media Group!

Breaking Up Is Hard To Do... But You Could've Done Better is a graphic novel full of break up stories with little cute cartoons. These stories are from high school kids to adults.

Breaking Up Is Hard To Do... But You Could've Done Better is such a funny, hilarious and amazing book. I really enjoyed reading all those break up stories and if there's going to be a part 2, I'll definitely read it! Some stories were so weird, like who would break up by saying that Jesus showed him that his girlfriend is a whore. Like, what?? And others were really sad.

Hilary Campbell is by the way amazing! She had an amazing dedication:

“To that one dude, for being such an inspirational dick.”

You go girl! I cannot wait to read more written by Hilary Campbell and I highly recommend Breaking Up Is Hard To Do... But You Could've Done Better if you're looking for an easy and funny read!

Title: Consequences: Opal & Origin
Series: Lux #3 & #4
Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout
Info: Goodreads

I love Jennifer L. Armentrout!!! I've read the first two books in the Lux series and I need to read more about Kat and Daemon! This book series is about aliens and it so amazing!

Make-up products
What: SFX Créme Colour
Colour: Black & White
Brand: Nyx
Price: $7.00 - $10.00

I have some cool ideas in my head for Halloween and I need to have some SFX paint. I'm planning on doing some Halloween tutorials and I cannot wait to buy the paint and test it out!

Fake Septum
Price: 1.20 - €1.37

I want a septum piercing for such a long time but my parents think it's ugly so I'm not allowed to pierce one. So my best option is to buy a fake one. I've bought a lot of chokers from AliExpress and that's one of the reasons why I want to buy my fake septum at AliExpress. The second reason is that it's cheap so if I don't like it, it's not really a waste of money!

Let me know what you would buy from these products! 💟

Purple/pink make-up look | Tutorial

Hi guys! I decided to make this make-up look because I've worn it once to school and I got a lot of compliments. I love experimenting with some bright colours and it turned out so beautiful! Purple and pink are such beautiful colours and I used affordable make-up products like usual.

Read further to know how I've created this look!

1. First things first: prime your eyelids with a primer. I love this primer so much, it's cheap and it does its job!

2. The next step is to use a pink eyeshadow in the crease. I got this eyeshadow as a birthday present and I'm in love with it!

3. Then use a purple eyeshadow to deepen the crease. The eyeshadow I used is a limited edition, but other brands have similar eyeshadows, for example Nyx.

4. To highlight the eyelids, I used another limited edition eyeshadow. This eyeshadow is one from the birthday collection. It's a beautiful shimmery purple. Like I mentioned before, Nyx has some great eyeshadows, I have one of their shimmer eyeshadows and I love it. In this collection you also have a purple shimmer eyeshadow.

5. I love darkening my upper waterline and I also made a little black line to hide my fake eyelashes. (I created this make-up look awhile ago so I want to note that I don't use the Maybelline gel eyeliner anymore because it's not cruelty-free. Now I use the Nyx Gel Liner and Smudger)

6. I love this eyeliner so much! This is a shimmery purple eyeliner, but unfortunately also a limited edition. But there are similar eyeliners, or maybe a little darker, such as one from Nyx.
7. Smoke out the eyeliner with pink and purple eyeshadow and apply some mascara and some falsies. I used the first pair of fake eyelashes.

9. One of the most important steps: HIGHLIGHTER. I love the Nyx highlighter because it doesn't need a powder on top.

10. Use a pink lip liner and fill in your lips.

11. The last step: liquid lipstick!

And that's it! 💕

Shadowhunters SE2B | Review

Title: Shadowhunters
Created by: Ed Decter
Based on: The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare
Seasons (watched): 2 seasons
Rating: ★★★★★

Overall Shadowhunters was again: really good, but to be honest not always that good. There are a lot of '+' but also some '-'. Mainly because I was kind of thinking about the books while watching the show and they changed a lot of things. Sometimes they added certain things to the show that are so meaningless but then again sometimes it was something good. These things always happen when they do a book-to-movie/TV show adaptation but I think there are also a lot of scenes that are more or less like in the books and I really liked those scenes. They weren't always 100% the same, but they have similarities and I liked those scenes!

And if you've read my season 2A review, you might see that here are a lot more +/-, but that's because I started writing this review while watching every episode and in my season 2A review, I started writing after the last episode and I couldn't remember every detail of all the episodes. All the '+' and '-' are in chronological order!

I do want to say that I gave season 2B 5 stars, so 1 star more than season 2A, and that's because I feel like they were more true to the book this time and I loved the final episode, episode 20. I cannot wait for season 3!

Please be aware that the following points +/- are spoilers!!!

-The new intro
-I thought it was kind of beautiful when Sebastian was making Clary feel all her horrible feelings all over again so she could finally draw new runes. It was hard, I admit, but also so beautiful because we could relive all these emotions and saw Katherine McNamara act properly. It might sound harsh, but she isn't the best actrice, in my opinion, but I see some improvements.
-I loved the end of episode 12 because Jace finally knows that he's a Herondale and that part of his grandmother was so beautiful. I had tears in my eyes
-Simon's little gig in episode 13
-Kissing scene between Clary and Jace at the Seelie Court
-Maia and Simon
-Clace moment in episode 16
-Malec moments in episode 18
-Clace moment in episode 19
-Malec moment in episode 20
-Clary being in a relationship with Simon
-I hated the fact that Izzy was addicted to vampire venom
-Magnus Bane and Valentine were switched at the end of episode 11 and in episode 12?!?!
-Maia and Jace?!?!
-Max isn't dead like in the books. Sebastian/Jonathan did kill Max in the books and Max died
-All the chaos that's coming because of the Seelie Queen

The Chaos of Longing | Review

Title: The Chaos of Longing (revised and expanded)
Author: K.Y. Robinson
Pages: 160 pages
Version: Ebook (ARC)
Publisher: Andrews McMeel Publishing
Release date: 26 September 2017

This book was provided by the publisher through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Netgalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing!
I've never read English poetry before and I wanted to try something new. When I looked up the synopsis of The Chaos of Longing, I wasn't sure what I was expecting. It sounded interesting, so that's the main reason was I requested this book on Netgalley.

The Chaos of Longing has poems about love, trauma, heartbreak and it's also divided in 4 sections. Each section has its own theme. The Chaos of Longing is so raw and honest. It's also something new for me. There were times that I was thinking and kept thinking about a certain poem, because I didn't really know what the meaning of it was. Like I mentioned before, poetry is new to me, so I don't always know how to read it and see the meaning behind it. Some poems were really obvious and others were a mystery.

I love The Chaos of Longing and I want to read more of K.Y. Robinson's work!
Favourite poems of the collection (plus a little excerpt from some of the poems):

Mental health update 1

*Trigger warning: descriptions on or extensive discussion on self-harming behaviour*

I recently made a blog post about my depression & anxiety and I wanted to give you guys an update. I mentioned in my blog post that I didn't plan on going to a psychiatrist/psychologist/doctor, but I did something else, I talked to someone online.

First I want to tell you guys why I made the change to talk to someone. I was talking about it with my boyfriend and he comes from a family with a lot of mental health issues and he was kinda sick and tired of it. It's hard for him that I have depression and anxiety because he's been through a lot and he doesn't want to suffer anymore. I know what you're all thinking right now: "he's not a good boyfriend because he pushes you to talk to someone" blah blah. But actually it's something good. It's good to talk to someone professional, maybe they can help me figure out some things and teach me how to be better in control when I have some panic attacks/anxiety attacks.

I reached out to Awel. It's a Belgian site where you can talk to someone. You can call them, message them or mail them. I was kind of scared to call someone or message them, I was scared to get a direct reply so I decided to mail them instead. In their mail they said that I was a nice girl that suffers, although I don't need to suffer because I can talk to them or others. They said how nice my boyfriend is and that it was a great idea to reach out to someone and talk.

Awel gave me many options on what I could do to help me with my depression and anxiety. They gave me some info on people I could contact: a counsellor at my college, JAC or TEJO, or a website that gives you tips, such as Fit in je hoofd. I'm sorry that these are all Dutch websites, but here are some English ones: ADAA, WebMD is a website about all different health problems and here you can find some tips and also some more information, and Healthline is more or less the same. 7 Cups is a website where you can talk to someone and Blah Therapy is another website.

I hope that these websites can help you guys out and I hope they can help me too! I'm planning on talking to one of these websites and I might talk to my college counsellor. I'm not sure because I don't know if I can talk to someone in person (who's a professional) about my problems. But I'll keep you updated about my mental health and never forget: you can always talk to me!💞

Wearing dark lipsticks

I love wearing dark lipsticks even though some people might look weird at me. I love wearing dark red lipsticks, berry/purple lipsticks and black lipsticks. I think it matches really well with my pale skin.

First I want to give you some of my favourite dark lipsticks and later some tips. I do want to say something about the pictures: I actually made the list before I took the pictures and I first swatched the normal Nyx lipsticks, then the Wycon and the Jeffree Star Cosmetics one and the last picture I took was the liquid Nyx lipstick. You can see that it's a different setting and I chose a different setting because the lightning was so so bad where I took the previous pictures. So sorry in advance for the change in setting!

My favourite dark lipsticks are:

1. Nyx Liquid Suede Creme Lipstick in Alien
2. Nyx Matte Lipstick in Siren
3. Nyx Matte Lipstick in Up The Bass
4. Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in Unicorn Blood
5. Wycon Cosmetics Fever Lipstick in Miss Mauve
My tips are:

1. Applying a lip liner before applying the lipstick.
For a liquid lipstick it's way easier to first apply a lip liner and then the lipstick itself. It's easy because you can follow the lines you've already created and you're sure that you have an opaque coverage.

2. Most of the time I love wearing matte lipsticks. Sometimes I buy lipsticks that are creamier but if I want them to look a little more matt, I use my finger or a tissue and dab a little on the lipstick. It takes away the shiny look. You can also apply some setting powder or an eyeshadow, but I rather use my finger than an eyeshadow.

3. And my last tip is to be confident! Sometimes I'm a little scared to wear a dark lipstick but then I think: it's what I like and what makes me myself. Just wear that dark lipstick and take 1000 selfies with it. If you like to wear dark lipstick, don't let anyone stop you! ❤

New products from Essence (August 2017)

Essence is going to come out with a lot of new products next week and I'm so excited! Essence is a cruelty-free and affordable brand, which are two things that I love! The following products are the products that I'm excited for and that I cannot wait to try out!

I love matt lipsticks so I want to give the butter stick matt love lipsticks a try. I love the colours so I'm excited to try them out!

I love vibrant eyeliners and these extreme lasting eye pencils look really creamy!
I love love love glitter so these moon glitters are definitely something for me!

I might want to try this foundation and primer because they look so nice. I've never used a foundation so that'll be something new, but I really like the packaging but I HOPE that the shade 10 is really fair, because I'm pale af.

Tools & accessories
And the last thing I want to buy from the new Essence products is this brush. It looks so good and you can never have enough brushes. I love buying make-up brushes that are colourful!

Essence is bringing out a lot of new products and these are the ones I definitely want to try out. To be honest, I'll probably buy more than just this list, haha I know myself!😅 Let me know what products you are going to buy! 💕
