Title: Trials
Series: Academy of Unpredictable Magic #2
Author: Sadie Moss
Pages: 219 pages
Version: Ebook (ARC)
Release date: 6 June 2019
Rating: ★★★★★

Synopsis

I survived my first semester at the Academy of Unpredictable Magic. Apparently, the universe took that as a challenge…

For years, Unpredictables have been brushed aside by the rest of the magical community. Now people are starting to pay attention—and I’m not entirely sure that’s a good thing.

I’ve always been content to fly under the radar, but now that we’ve been invited to participate in the Inter-academy Trials, the entire school will be in the spotlight.

As if trying to sort out my feelings for the four insanely gorgeous men who all want to date me wasn’t enough, now I’m juggling magical games, deadly plots, unexpected allies, and notoriety I never asked for.

All right, second semester. Do your worst.

Trials is the second book in the Academy of Unpredictable Magic series, a medium-burn reverse harem story intended for ages 18+, featuring a badass chick and the four sexy men who fall in love with her.

Review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Sadie Moss!

Trials is the second book in the Academy of Unpredictable Magic and continues the story of Elliot and her four men.

Trials was yet again another amazing book by Sadie Moss. I just love the way Sadie Moss creates this world with amazing characters. All of her books are fast paced, well written and just the right amount of romance and action.

The relationship between Elliot and her men has developed in Trials and it left me on the edge of my seat. I was constantly waiting for her or the men to make a move and I loved it. Now there’s still one guy I want to see in action but I guess I’ll see him in the next book.

I also think that we got to see a more vulnerable side of Elliot and of Dmitri and I really liked that. I cannot pick a favourite because I love all 4 four men but let me tell you that I’m the most intrigued by Dimitri. I still don’t know his story and I’m excited to find it out!

Trials was an amazing sequel and I cannot wait to read the third book, Thief!

The Billionaire’s Untouched Bride is the sixth book in the Evermore series and tells the story of Cleo and Benedetto. Although this is the sixt book in the Evermore series, you can read it as a standalone.

The Billionaire’s Untouched Bride is the fourth book I’ve read by Clare Connelly and it was yet another amazing Romance book!

I really like the main character, Cleo. She’s such a strong woman, and she has a beautiful relationship with Benedetto’s godson. I think that she’s also a beautiful and loving woman. Benedetto doesn’t believe in love yet he can’t stop thinking about Cleo…

I think that The Billionaire’s Untouched Bride is another amazing book by Clare Connelly and I cannot wait to read her other books!

Review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Clare Connelly!

Shock Heir for the King tells the story about Frankie and Matt.

Shock Heir for the King is the third book I’ve read by Clare Connelly and I really enjoyed reading it. The story was interesting and it was such a good Romance book. This is my first ‘secret baby’ Romance and I really liked it.

The baby secret was a surprise for Matt but I think it was beautiful that he took on the job of being a father. The chemistry between Frankie and Matt was beautiful and I loved it when they confessed their feelings towards each other.

Shock Heir for the King was a nice Romance read, perfect for when you’re on vacation. I read this book when I was on the plane to Finland and I enjoyed reading it!

Review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Zachary Ryan!

High School Queens is the first book in the High School Queens Trilogy and tells the story of Danielle and her friends.

High School Queens is the first book I’ve read by Zachary Ryan and I really liked it. This book is told in different perspectives so you really get to know what the characters are going through. And they’re going through a lot… This book talks about addiction, self-harm, divorced parents, …

I really liked that this book talked about all these topics because every teen struggles with one of these topics, so I think that it makes the characters seem more real and relatable. There was also some character development towards the end of the book. Some of the characters really changed because of The Marked Queen and I loved that.

I really liked High School Queens, it was really interesting and I wanted to know who The Marked Queen was. I’m looking forward to reading the sequel, The Revenged Queen!

Excerpt
Pulling my two heavy textbooks for this class out of the stack too, I arrange everything nicely. Just as I am getting my brand new pencils ready, I am startled by a loud bang. My desk mate drops his books on the countertop and sits down, looking at me askance.
I startle to realize that it’s the blond Greek god I ran from only yesterday. Tall and broad-shouldered, he wears his black denim and dark blue tee shirt incredibly well. He knows it too, judging by his posture. He perches on his stool and crosses his arms, expectant. Perfectly unkempt sandy blond hair, dark brows spread wide over the darkest blue eyes I’ve ever seen, a patrician nose, two incredible cheekbones, and the most expressive lips…
This guy is fucking hot, excuse my French.
Which are currently smirking at me. I knew hot guys back home in Prineville. Mostly I avoided them, truth be told. But this guy is on another level. He is so dazzling that he could work in television… and bad tv just so happens to be my weakness.
Being around this guy is enough to make me rethink the bright yellow tee shirt dress I am wearing. I want more than anything to tug the hem down and smooth my hands over my black tights, but I don’t.
Instead I blush, fumbling to introduce myself. Sticking my hand straight out and tossing my messy blonde hair back, I try for an authoritative voice. “I’m Emily Danes.”
At the front of the classroom, the professor clears his throat, ready to start talking. My eyes dart to him, but then he reaches for his bunch of tissues again. Glancing back to my partner, I see him eye me up and down in a totally unsubtle way.
At last, he leans forward and shakes my hand. His skin against mine is hot. I bite my lip, refusing to let a little thing like instant animal attraction do me in.
“I’m Wolf,” he says, his voice low and gravelly. He looks me over once more.
Then he arches a brow, his smirk deepening. “Did you find all of your panties last night?”
My cheeks instantly go the exact color of a ripe tomato. I lick my lips and frown. What am I supposed to say to that?

Title: Spark
Series: Academy of Unpredictable Magic #1
Author: Sadie Moss
Pages: 208 pages
Version: Ebook (ARC)
Release date: 16 May 2019
Rating: ★★★★★

Synopsis

Magic exists. I know – it’s in my blood.

Unfortunately, not all people from magical bloodlines have powers, and at 22, I’m several years past the age they usually appear. So I’ve resigned myself to a boring, magic-less life.

Then something strange happens…

I get stuck in the middle of a bar fight, and instead of just punching the guy back, I blow a hole in the wall.

So… I guess I do have powers. But they’re unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. This shit is definitely not normal.

And it seems the magical authorities agree, because they give me a choice: either I go to school to learn to control my crazy new magic, or they’ll take it away. Permanently.

Now if I can just survive the bitchy mean girls determined to take me down a peg, the mysterious attacks on students, the three hot-as-hell guys who don’t seem turned off by my prickly exterior, and the professor who makes me long for detention, maybe I’ll get out of here in one piece.

Wouldn’t bet on it though. Welcome to the Academy of Unpredictable Magic.

Spark is the first book in the Academy of Unpredictable Magic series, a medium-burn reverse harem story intended for ages 18+, featuring a badass chick and the four sexy men who fall in love with her.

Review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Sadie Moss!

Spark is the first book in the Reverse Harem series called Academy of Unpredictable Magic. Spark tells the story of Elliot and her four handsome men.

Spark is yet another amazing book by Sadie Moss. I loved her The Last Shifter series so when I got the opportunity to read the first book in her new series, I was so excited! This book series is another Reverse Harem series, and I just love it. I discovered this genre because of Sadie Moss, and it’s definitely one of my favourite Romance genres.

I love all 4 guys in Spark. They’re all so different, and I’m such a sucker for teacher/student relationships. And all the other guys are so lovable! The main character is such a strong character because she can take care of herself. She isn’t used to people taking care of her, so it’s fun to read about her and the guys.

I really love the concept of this new series, it’s a different kind of magic and I like that there are these schools for each type of magic. I really loved Spark and I cannot wait to read the rest of the series!!!

Series: Accidental Love #2
Author: Rebecca Brooks
Pages: 256 pages
Version: Ebook (ARC)
Publisher: Entangled Brazen
Release date: 13 May 2019
Rating: ★★★★★
4.5/5*

Synopsis

Falling head-first into the wrong woman’s bed was not how Reed Bishop’s night was supposed to go. Now a gorgeous, half-naked ballet dancer was threatening his manhood…with a book. He can’t blame her. It wasn’t how it seemed – he was just doing his job, tracking down his lead informant, who, unfortunately, took off, leaving him to figure out what to do with her friend. Staying in her apartment was no longer safe. And that’s how he got himself into this mess.

Now she’s sleeping in his bed while he tosses and turns on the couch. There are pink tights in his bathroom. Pointe shoes next to his boots. He swears he won’t touch her like that…but he can’t ignore his fantasies.

As a tattooed, muscled DEA Agent, Reed’s seen some things. Drug dealers, murderers…He can’t let Talia get close. Even though she’s made it clear they’re both fighting the same hunger. And he definitely can’t use his handcuffs on her…no matter how much she begs.

Review

This book was provided by the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Entangled Brazen!

Wrong Bed, Right Girl is the second book in the Accidental Love series and tells the story of Talia and Reed. Although Wrong Bed, Right Girl is the second book in the series, it can be read as a standalone.

Wrong Bed, Right Girl is such a cute Contemporary Romance about two people who accidentally met and fell in love. Wrong Bed, Right Girl was really fast paced and I read this book in one day. This was the first book I’ve read by Rebecca Brooks and this won’t be the last one!

I really liked the characters because they were so different. Talia is a ballerina and says what she thinks and Reed is a DEA Agent who doesn’t use that many words. They’re opposites and that’s why they’re perfect for each other.

Wrong Bed, Right Girl was an amazing Contemporary Romance and I cannot wait to read the first book in the Accidental Love series, Wrong Bed, Right Roommate.

Review

This book was provided by the authors in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti!

Eternal Love is the seventh and final book in the Age of Vampires series and continues the story of Callie, Magnar, Montana and Erik.

So this will be the last review of the Age of Vampires series and I just have to mention that I love all the covers in this series. They’re so pretty and I’d love to have them on my bookshelf!

Let’s talk about the book itself. Eternal Love was such a fast paced read, I finished it in a few days because I had to know how this book was going to end. I mean, the Age of Vampire series was such a good series and I just had to know whether or not the curse could be broken and that they could be together as humans.

I really liked the character development of all the characters in Eternal Love because it had such a huge impact on the story. Some people changed and some people finally accepted their true feelings. I loved reading about them and I loved the ending that they got.

Eternal Love was such an amazing conclusion to Age of Vampires series and I hope that Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti will write another book series together!

Review

This book was provided by the authors in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti!

Eternal Storm is the sixth book in the Age of Vampire series and continues the story of Callie, Magnar, Montana and Erik.

I’m again speechless. I don’t know how to express my feelings for Eternal Storm. This book is again such an amazing, well written and quick read. I loved the characters and I just cannot get enough of this series. I’m so sad that the next book will be the last one.

I really loved Eternal Storm because of the bonding between the characters. Not just between Callie and Magnar, and Montana and Erik. Just the slayers and vampires in general. I also loved seeing the more vulnerable side of Fabian, I really loved the moments between Magnar and Erik, and then we have Julius and Clarice…

Eternal Storm was yet again an amazing sequel, and Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti are amazing authors. And the ending of this book… I need the next book in the series, Eternal Love!
